* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fairfield, Fayette, Hocking and Pickaway. In south central Ohio, Highland and Ross. In southwest Ohio, Clinton and Warren. * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 208 AM EDT, Radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Chillicothe, Washington Court House, Circleville, Wilmington, Loveland, Logan, Hillsboro, Greenfield, Blanchester, Nelsonville, Sabina, Lynchburg, Bremen, Leesburg, New Vienna, Kingston, Williamsport, Bainbridge, New Holland and North Folk Village. Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
